Thanks for all your prayers and support...everyone has been asking how Ellie is doing so I thought I would let you all know. We went to the hospital again today (urgent care this time) to try to find out why she can't keep any of her food down. She has pretty much spit everything back up since Friday night. Saturday, our pediatrician put her on a 12 hour Pedialyte diet, and she was able to keep that down, but her stomach just wasn't doing formula. Last night she slept in 15-30 minute chunks all night and was irritable and hungry. Anyway, the Dr at the hospital said that the vomiting was a side effect of the antibiotics, and that the lack of sleeping was a side effect of her nebulizer medication...wish someone had told us that when we first started giving them to her! We could have saved a trip to the hospital and a lot of worrying. Dehydration is our biggest worry at this point and so far she is doing fine.
Anyway, she is going to be fine, just a cranky insomniac until we can get her off the nebulizer. She has been doing better with the formula tonight.
I took the girls to the park yesterday while Lindsay got her toes done...we had a great time! We walked a mile and a half on the track and then Gracie rode the swing for 30 minutes. Ellie alternated being hungry and throwing up but we all made it.

OH, IM SO SAD TO HERE SHES STILL SICK. I HOPE SHE GETS BETTER SOON. I LOVE TO SEE THAT I NOW CAN STAY UPDATED MYSELF ON HERE AND NOT HAVE TO ASK YOUR MOM EVEN THOUGH SHE DOESNT CARE ITS FUN TO SEE PICTURES TOO.
I am so glad to hear that she is doing much better. Don't you just love how they sometimes "conveniently" forget to tell you things! I'm so excited you got a blog going! Now we can keep up much easier. Can't wait to read them! Love ya girl!
