We celebrated Christmas early this year. We had a great time! Ellie got up at 6am, but we didn't start things then. She just wanted to eat and go back to bed. Santa did come during the night...here is proof:
When Gracie got up we did presents and all that stuff. Gracie's favorite so far is a pink "Kitchenaid" mixer that is her size, although her toolbox did get an "Oh my goodness, toolbox!"
Once Ellie woke up we did her presents. She was fairly unimpressed with wrapping paper so Gracie helped open her stuff. Ellie likes her wooden activity station and her cozy blanket.
After all that we made French toast with strawberries and whipped cream, bacon, and scrambled eggs. Gracie and I put her workbench together, and Ellie ate the whole time we were working on it! Gracie seems to like it, although her mixer still has center stage. You never know what they are going to latch onto!
Quick plug for the girls...we did not have a single problem with presents being touched, shaken, poked, or hardly even looked at the whole time they were out. Good job, kids, we are proud of you!
